Lorenzo Well rounded death metal with a big helping of technical / progressive mindfulness, hints of more brutal sounds, and a taste of chuggy-chuggy deathcore for good measure. Most notably filled with relentless drums and a myriad of riffs / solos / guitar flourishes, the album toes the line of the above mentioned styles all throughout its subjectively short runtime in a concise manner.

There is a palpable frustration to the vocals and lyrics, and it does make the album emotionally heavy

Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
